![]() I cannot believe the day has finally arrived! I've just moved into my bricks and mortar clinic! Bang in the middle of Kuranda village but tucked away under a Vietnamese restaurant and next to the thriving Kuranda Original Rainforest Markets. It's a brilliant position that is equal parts quiet and central. I cannot wait to start helping clients meet their health goals in there. The entire family helped with the move. My beautiful daughter alphabetised remedies for me while my eldest son helped his dad with the furniture. My sweet and comic son in the middle helped with books and wiping out draws. The wee one of the group...well he is only 4! And me? Ahhhh...I flapped about everywhere. Furniture moving, book organising, dispensary ordering...I need a cuppa and a lie down! Check out the photos! Keep in mind that it is still a work in progress. Certificates and anatomical posters need to be added to the walls, kits and remedies need to be made up and filing needs to be done! That's just what I can think of right now... Check out the photos! Click play up in the left to see them all. Did you see the table in the corner? Well that's there so I can start doing a few short courses based on the kits I will sell. My long suffering, but ever supportive partner, Gavin, had a few choice things to say about moving that table in! I think it will be Arnica all round tonight to ease the aching muscles tomorrow! You might know Arnica as the bruising remedy but it can be really useful after you have had a big work out either in the gym or out and about. It's also brilliant in the management of strains and sprains. Arnica should grace the shelves of every home in my humble opinion! Gavin finds Bellis Perennis has a greater effect on him after a hard days labour. It address deeper muscle strain especially if you have then had a cool breeze blowing on your overworked body. It's known as the gardener's remedy for that exact reason- hard day in the yard and as the sun goes down and you are packing the tools away along comes that cool evening breeze. What I'd give for that breeze right now! The tropical wet hasn't quite arrived but the humidity has definitely set up house. Love and laughter 'til next time! Homeopathy is a traditional medicine. It may be used in conjunction with other medicines. For any ongoing chronic condition, it is important to be assessed or examined but your healthcare professional or specialist. Always seek medical advice in emergencies.
